Start your weekend at Nikolaj Kunsthal! Save the date and join The International Cities of Refuge Network (ICORN) for ART BAR at Nikolaj KUnsthal on 31 May from 18.00-22.00. Entry is free of charge.
ICORN invite you to an evening fusion of concerts, artist talks, readings, and performances in the surroundings of the current exhibitions at Nikolaj Kunsthal. DJs will lead us through the evening while we enjoy the outside bar in the evening sun.
Art Bar Extravaganza 2024
We kick off Art Matter 2024 with an intense programme, offering dance choreographed by Lotte Sigh, free-fall performance by Miriam Kongstad and music by abolish i who both operates the DJ desk and plays live at the Lower Gallery.

The Blue Hour - Simin Stine Ramezanali x Koffi & Højgaard
The blue hour refers to thehttps://nikolajkunsthal.kk.dk/en/exhibitions/platform-simin-stine-ramezanali-x-koffi-hojgaard?language=en period shortly after sunset and just before the sun rises. There is a limbo between night and day in which the world is bathed in a magical blue light.

We believe in the shared meal as a catalyst for curious and enriching conversations, and we have therefore invited two artists currently in the exhibition to talk about their work - and participate in an informal dinner.

Pink Oyster x Nikolaj Kunsthal
Jonas Harboe Frederiksen brings Danish invasive oysters, the species gigas, as well as a French oyster from the Normandy. It is possible to buy an additional drink – not least a rosehip petnat that makes a perfect match! It is also possible to buy oysters on the day. As long as stock is available.
