It is a pleasure to finally open the doors to two new exhibitions unfolding throughout the entire building from 6 February to 6 April. We are open Tuesday to Friday from 11-18, and at weekends from 11-17.

Enjoy:

Københavnerstykker II (Lower and Upper Gallery)
"Københavnerstykker II" briefly freezes time, offering visitors to Nikolaj Kunsthal a unique opportunity to experience a kaleidoscopic snapshot of contemporary art — right here, right now. The exhibition brings together more than 230 works by nearly 150 artists, all acquired by the The Council For Visual Art for the City of Copenhagen between 2022 and 2025.

Rest and Routine – Duet for Sanatorium and Modern Hospital (Platform)
How does the architecture of healthcare shape our understanding of healing? And what does it mean for those who live and receive treatment within these spaces? These questions form the core of "Rest and Routine – Duet for Sanatorium and Modern Hospital", an exhibition by visual artist and electronic composer Cecilie Penney, created in collaboration with architect and curator Lawrence Ebelle.
