Flik Flak Fluxus * Workshop for children and their adults
Led by our experienced art educators, this child-friendly workshop includes a tour of the current Alison Knowles exhibition, along with a series of small activities along the way. Together, we will celebrate beautiful red things ("Celebration Red"), make music with our feet ("Bean Garden"), and share stories about our shoes ("Shoe of Your Choice").
Each workshop lasts approximately one hour. A new workshop begins every hour from 13:00. Please see the schedule and meeting point further down the page.
There will be plenty of time for immersion, conversation, fun, and shared discovery. Participation is free of charge – with a paid admission ticket for adults.
Fluxus is an art movement that emerged in the early 1960s as a challenge to elitist ideas of art. It focuses on everyday life, actions, and participation, with the aim of dissolving the boundary between art and life. Fluxus invites us to listen, play, and discover that art does not always hang on a wall – it can happen right in the middle of what we do together.
