Nikolaj Kunsthal 2023

Lots of exciting exhibitions are coming up in the new year. Get an overview of the 2023 exhibition programme right here

It is with great pleasure that we lift the veil on next year’s exhibition programme at Nikolaj Kunsthal.

Our visitors can look forward to experiencing a diverse programme rooted in the city’s vibrant art scene. Plenty of stories, formats and materials are at play across both solo and group exhibitions located at the Lower and Upper Galleries.

We start the calender year 2023 with an exhibition at the Lower Gallery by composer and sound artist Signe Heinfelt and astrophysicist Jo Verwohlt. They are concerned with how stories about atoms, black holes and the history of the universe can turn into sensual art experiences. At the Upper Gallery, you can also experience Louise Bonde-Hansen who is interested in creating spaces that have a healing and redemptive effect. She works with memories and utopias - while at the same time being fascinated by kitsch without any ironic distance. Get the full exhibition overview in the text box below.

We will continuously talk about our 2023 exhibition programme on this page – and not least on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin.

Last month we were also able to reveal the 2023 programme for our exhibition space Platform, dedicated to emerging talented artists and curators. Read more about Platform 2023 here
