Artist Talk with Claudia Hart September 20

At Nikolaj Kunsthal, Claudia Hart will give an artist talk about her seminal NFT work, Kiki.object and the Feminist Manifesta of the Blockchain, shown at CryptoPong. Hart will share her thoughts about NFTs and the new culture behind them, as well as broader digital art practice.

Harts Manifesta has spurred discussion with artists and curators around the world about NFTs, the real and the (un)real, and questions of ownership and authenticity.

The talk will be in English.

About Claudia Hart

Claudia Hart is a Professor at the Art Institute of Chicago, and a well-known artist, having worked with 3D animation since the late 90s as an intermedia artist examining issues of identity and representation. She has produced a large body of work using VR, AR, NFTs and objects produced by computer-driven production machines.

Hart’s works are widely exhibited and collected by galleries and museums including the collections of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the Museum of Modern Art - MoMA, the National Gallery, Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin, and the Albertina Museum, Vienna amongst others.
