The end is near. It’s almost time for an exhibition changeover. Bring your friends, family and colleagues along and drop by for the finissage on Thursday 8 January from 4–6 pm. Here, you can experience – or re-experience – the group exhibition "Copenhagen–Berlin: Gateway to the World", Evren Tekinoktay’s "BOOGIE", and the season’s final Platform exhibition, "hard core", by Ditte Krøyer and Klara Li Scheutz.

For the finissage on 8 January, we’ve prepared something extra:

  • In the Lower Gallery, look forward to the storytelling event "SOUL Stories", developed by Dina El Kaisy Friemuth. Dina – who contributes to the group exhibition "Copenhagen–Berlin: Gateway to the World" with her series "ISIS" – has invited her mother to join her in conversation. Together, they create a space that highlights feminist figures through storytelling and celebrates dialogue across generations. This part of the finissage programme has been made possible with support from the Goethe-Institut Denmark.
  • In the Platform exhibition space, you can take part in a talk between artist Ditte Krøyer and curator Klara Li Scheutz, followed by a performance.

The entire kunsthal is open with free entry, and our bar will be offering great deals, including beer from Depanneur and sparkling wine from Azimut. Everyone is welcome!

All exhibitions will remain open until Sunday, 11 January, at 5:00 PM. Afterwards, Nikolaj Kunsthal will close briefly to prepare for new exhibitions opening on Thursday, 5 February, from 16:00. Stay tuned for upcoming ‘Exhibitions’ and ‘Events’ on this web site.
