Red Dinner with Eva Hurtigkarl & Kala’s Kimchi
Chef Eva Hurtigkarl and kimchi master Kala focus on the colour red when they together curiously investigate and unfold the meeting between Korean and Danish food culture. Since she moved to Denmark, Kala has worked on making kimchi from Danish ingredients, and together with Eva Hurtigkarl, they will let red colour be the guiding principle for a unique dinner experience in the high-ceilinged Lower Gallery. Eva Hurtigkarl elaborates:
"Red is the colour of kimchi, strawberries with cream and the Danish flag. Since I saw Sophie Calle's picture series "The Chromatic Diet", I have been experimenting with menus that are based on a specific colour."
The result of the red long table dinner unfolds in the middle of the Lower Gallery, which currently forms the framework for the exhibition "Super High End Underground". Admission to the exhibition is included in the ticket.
The Red Dinner takes place on April 25
