We are absolutely sure that our guests will appreciate hearing that Free Wednesday is being reintroduced. It is a political decision made by the City Council in Copenhagen, which starts from Wednesday 16 October.

From now on, you can visit Nikolaj Kunsthal every Wednesday for free.

In addition to the re-introduced free Wednesday, we would like to highlight the following alternative options for visiting Nikolaj Kunsthal - and our sister institutions Thorvaldsens Museum and Copenhagen Museum - either free or cheaper:

  • Children and young people under 18 always have free admission
  • Pensioners have free admission every Tuesday
  • Annual Pass gives access to Thorvaldsens Museum, Nikolaj Kunsthal and the Museum of Copenhagen all year round.
  • K7 Plus is a special annual pass aimed at young people between 18 and 27 years. K7 Plus provides free access to over 30 museums and exhibition venues in greater Copenhagen
  • Copenhagen Card gives free access to Thorvaldsen Museum, Nikolaj Kunsthal, the Museum of Copenhagen and a number of other attractions

We look forward to seeing you!
