A living landscape of bodies

On 3 June, Nikolaj Kunsthal is transformed into a living landscape of bodies, movement and sensuous energy, as Bodies in Flux presents excerpts from Copenhagen International Dance Festival 2026 in the soaring Lower Gallery.

Set within the retrospective exhibition of Fluxus pioneer Alison Knowles, the performances take place close to the audience in a vibrant encounter between body, space and presence. Movement and human connection are celebrated in dialogue with the kunsthal’s architecture and the exhibition’s experimental spirit.

Experience the Berlin-based company Frantics with Marco Di Nardo and Juan Tirado, excerpts from the festival’s extensive tour of educational institutions, hospitals and care centres by Gustavo Ramirez, Adi Salant and Erika Cucumazzo, as well as Pas De Trois by Lotte Sigh.

Bodies in Flux is presented in collaboration between Art Matter Festival, Copenhagen International Dance Festival and CPH Stage and Nikolaj Kunsthal.

Admission is free. Everyone is welcome.
