A Conversation on Contemporary Art
Through insightful analysis and critical perspectives, Maria Kjær Themsen and Louise Steiwer will open up new ways of looking at the art that surrounds us. Taking place on Tuesday 3 March, the conversation will explore a selection of the 230 works currently on view at Nikolaj Kunsthal as part of the exhibition "Københavnerstykker II" (Copenhagen Pieces II).
"Københavnerstykker II" presents works acquired by the Council for Visual Arts over the past four years, providing a unique framework for discussing the currents, tendencies and questions shaping contemporary art today.
Please note that the conversation will be held in Danish.
Maria Kjær Themsen is Arts Editor at Dagbladet Information and works as a freelance writer, curator and lecturer. She has written about contemporary art for decades and is the author of the book "Berørt".
