These times call for immersion and presence, and KLANGRUM is DUEN’s take on how classical music can help create a meditative space when performed with special awareness and sensitivity. The format brings classical music right up close to the audience, who are encouraged to lie down and let themselves be enveloped by the intense sound experience. Nikolaj Kunsthal provides yoga mats. Those sensitive to the cold are encouraged to bring a blanket!

The space enhances the music
The concert takes place in the Upper Gallery of Nikolaj Kunsthal, which in this context stands out for its resonant acoustics that support the unamplified music. At the moment, visual artist Evren Tekinoktay has taken over the space with her exhibition BOOGIE, which creates a poetic and sensory setting with glowing neon works, knotted rugs, and detailed collages.
