Sound journeys are a transformative type of sound therapy designed to invoke a vivid mental landscape for deepening inner exploration and shifting emotion, thought patterns and perspective.

The experience is guided by numerous sounds, all with varying frequencies and vibrations, that can lead you into a state of total relaxation in which healing and connection to a higher consciousness can take place.

We talk of sound as healing because it carries the potential of activating the body's own healing capabilities. It can bring one out of active Beta brainwave states and induce Alpha and Theta brainwaves which is where deep relaxation and cell regeneration happens. This is beneficial since more than 90 % of all diseases come from some kind of stress response. In this deeply relaxed state, your body releases the hormones oxytocin (the “love” hormone) and serotonin (the happiness hormone) enhancing brain function and balancing our mood. Nitric oxide is also released in different parts of your body. This molecule is essential for overall health because it allows blood, nutrients and oxygen to travel to every part of your body effectively and efficiently. Additionally your thinking mind can take a much needed break, giving you the freedom to explore the magical space between asleep and awake. In this space, you’re more likely to find answers to questions you’ve been searching for, creative ideas, clarity, an understanding of internal blockages, peace and a sense of coming home. Overall the body can essentially be tuned back to a state of balance and harmony. If you combine the healing vibrations with your own unique intention, the scope of the work intensifies greatly.
