Thursday Bar at Nikolaj Plads 22 August

There are oysters and a behind-the-scenes tour on the programme as we celebrate late summer and Copenhagen Cultural District’s Thursday bar outside at Nikolaj Plads. Dj Jonas Visti provides the musical backdrop. Everyone is welcome

On the occasion of Copenhagen Cooking, we are establishing - in collaboration with chef Jonas Harboe Frederiksen - an interim oyster bar outside at Nikolaj Plads. Jonas Harboe Frederiksen, who is behind Pink Oyster, also brings the perfect bubbly match, namely a pet night created in collaboration with Æblerov. You can pre-book your oysters via Copenhagen Cooking right here.

Music aficionado and radio host Jonas Visti (pictured) operates the DJ desk eclectically, and during the afternoon we conduct a behind-the-scenes tour of Nikolaj Kunsthal, which is under construction in mid-August ahead of completely new exhibitions. The sneak peek tour of the group exhibition I'm Sorry, This Space Is Reserved will be led by curator Kristina Steinbock, who also has works on display in the exhibition. A limited number of tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be picked up for free at the café on the day of the event.

The Thursday bar is made in collaboration between Nikolaj Kunsthal, The Theatre Museum at The Court Theatre, Copenhagen Cooking and, not least, Copenhagen Cultural District.

Everyone is welcome!
