Artist & writer Emma Rosenzweig takes over Platform with a 16 mm film

We look forward to welcoming you to "HOLE", created by artist and writer Emma Rosenzweig in curatorial collaboration with Olivia Turner. The exhibition centres on the black-and-white 16 mm film HOLE, which follows three women staying in a remote country house as they move through rupture, fear and transformation.

Join us for the opening party on Thursday 8 October, 4–7 pm. DJs Loke Rahbek and Frederik Valentin will be behind the decks, with free cold beers from Depanneur and alcohol-free electrolyte drinks from Dansevand – for the early and the quick!

In "HOLE", the limitations of 16 mm film are used deliberately as an artistic device. The grainy black-and-white images blur the boundaries between skin, landscape and shadow, giving the narrative an intimate yet unstable quality. The work explores loss and transformation while also examining the structures that shape how women see themselves and one another. Read more about the exhibition.
