Platform - Laurits Malthe Gulløv x Rebekka Elisabeth Anker-Møller

The exhibition "Wholes" deals overall with the relationship between isolation and coherence through the notion of the exhibition walls as a thin membrane between two different spatial logics.

As a part of Platform, Nikolaj Kunsthal presents the exhibition "Wholes" created by visual artist Laurits Malthe Gulløv in collaboration with curator Rebekka Elisabeth Anker-Møller.

The exhibition generally deals with the relationship between isolation and coherence through the notion of the exhibition walls as a thin membrane between two different spatial logics.

The opening will take place on Thursday 25 May. Follow the event on Facebook right here

The exhibition has been realised with support from the City of Copenhagen (The Council for Visual Arts), Danish Arts Foundation and Danish Art Workshops.

Platform was created with support from Det Obelske Familiefond.

About Laurits Malthe Gulløv

Laurits Malthe Gulløv (b. 1994) graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts’ School of Sculpture and works across text, graphics, video, sculpture and installation.

In his practice, he often deals with existential questions about how we as humans try to establish order in a world that is by nature both chaotic and opaque.

Gulløv is concerned with which cultural understanding and conceptual assumptions make us perceive the world as we do, and what happens to that logic as the world changes. Laurits Malthe Gulløv has previously exhibited at Kunsthal Charlottenborg, OK Corral and Art Hub Copenhagen. Read more about Laurits Malthe Gulløv.
