Finissage * I'm Sorry, This Space Is Reserved * Kathrine Ærtebjerg * Platform

Join us on Thursday, January 16, from 4–6 PM as we invite you to the finissage of our current exhibitions. Let’s bid a proper farewell to these shows as we make way for exciting new art experiences. Admission is free!

Experience or revisit the group exhibition “I’m Sorry, This Space Is Reserved,” Kathrine Ærtebjerg’s “En sky er en pige er en dreng er en kat” and the season’s final Platform exhibition, “Barndommens Gade,” created by Benjamin A. H. Harpsøe and Anna Clarisse Holck Wæhrens.

For the finissage on January 16, we’ve prepared something extra:

  • In the Lower Gallery, enjoy Kristina Steinbock’s performance “This Is My Desire,” presented by Nina Skovgaard Schneidermann and Ditte Amalie Hagelund Johansen. Steinbock, who curated “I’m Sorry, This Space Is Reserved,” is also represented in the exhibition with several works.
  • In the exhibition space Platform, meet artist Benjamin A. H. Harpsøe in conversation with renowned artist Joachim Koester. Moderated by curator Anna Clarisse Holck Wæhrens, the discussion will explore their connection to Christiania.

The entire kunsthal is open with free entry, and our bar will be offering great deals, including beer from Depanneur (Bajeur) and sparkling wine from Azimut. Everyone is welcome!

All exhibitions will remain open until Sunday, January 19, at 5 PM. Afterward, Nikolaj Kunsthal will briefly close to prepare for new exhibitions opening on Friday, February 7, at 4 PM #vernissage
