Sustainability
As part of our mission at Nikolaj Kunsthal, we work towards a sustainable future and green alternatives. We wish to protect nature and the environment, and we are certain it takes a joint effort. Therefore, we actively engage in the green transition and the debate on how we can best take care of our earth and its resources.

Facts about Green Attraction
Green Attraction was established in collaboration between the Danish Zoological Gardens & Aquariums (DAZA), the Danish Museums Organisation (ODM), the Association of Amusement Parks in Denmark (FFD), the Educational Activity Centres (VPAC) and HORESTA.
HORESTA launched Green Attraction in 2022, focusing specifically on attractions.
Green Attraction recognises attractions that go the extra mile to be green and protect the environment. All Green Attraction certified sites must meet a wide range of criteria for environmentally friendly operations.
A Green Attraction minimises the use of chemicals, reduces energy and water consumption and ensures effective and understandable waste sorting.
Green Attraction institutions must all document that they meet the criteria and undergo inspection visits before certification – and are continually encouraged to do more and undergo regular follow-up inspections.
